- We found code P0870 – OD Hydraulic Pressure Test/Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "C". We were unable to duplicate the transmission shifting concerns. We inspected the transmission fluid level and condition. We found the fluid is slightly low and dark. As the first step we recommend removing the transmission pan inspecting for debris and replacing the filter, and fluid. A plugged filter can cause this concern.
